Bio Oil on episiotomy scar -- anyone tried it?

Hello,
I lathered Bio Oil all over my body while pregnant and am now contemplating trying it on my episiotomy scar. The scar is not that big but hurts a bit and I wondered if the oil might break it down/soften it. Has anyone tried this?

Not tried On that but I am big bio oil fan generally :)

As long as it has had long enough to heal over, it should be helpful I would have thought.

Assuming you already know about lavender oil/tea tree oil in the bath etc , good luck
