Any signs of labour after two failed sweeps?

I am now overdue by 3 days and have had two failed attempts at membrane sweep (cervix was soft and effacing but closed and posterior so couldn't be accessed to perform a sweep).

Has anyone gone into labour despite this experience? I'm so fed up of waiting now! My DS1 was born early by waters breaking but I had to be induced as labour didn't start on its own but ended up with emcs.

This one seems way too comfy...

Any experiences would be great to hear.

I had one like this 2 weeks ago. Went into labour next day!

I had four failed attempts. DD was born by elcs on New Year's eve at 40+10.

Thanks ladies.

I think I will end up down the c section route again! Not keen on trial of labour through induction if body isn't ready as that's what happened last time Hmm

Fingers crossed something happens soon!

MrsDavies, that's why I grabbed the opportunity for elcs, they were going to induce on 2nd Jan and i couldn't face it. At the time I had a broken coccyx from a fall too, and the thought of 8 hours of ctx followed by emcs was enough to quell any concerns about a 2nd cs!
