Recommendation for London Obstetrician

Can anyone recommend a private obstetrican in London?
I have met with Karl Murphy after reading some good reviews on him, however I am not sure if he is a good fit. Was thinking of maybe seeing one more before deciding. For anyone who did deliver with Karl, would you highly recommend him? (any reviews good or bad welcome)
Thanks!

Thanks QTPie. I will check out the 2 names you mentioned. What I found with Karl Murpy was that he did not provide necessary information unless you asked.

A friend of mine recently delivered elcs with KM and she loved him. I had Dr Donald Gibb who is amazing.

Karl Murphy was my obstetrician 6 years ago at the Lindo Wing. He is extremely thorough and misses nothing. I had a few problems in my pregnancy then and I was glad we chose him. I would highly recommend him and would chose him again if I became pregnant again.

[[http://www.thebirthcompany.co.uk/about-us/dr-donald-gibb.html Donald Gibb at the Birth Company]. He works with the Portland Hospital.

Pat O'Brien did my recent CS with ds2 and he was absolutely amazing (including when things went wrong the day before scheduled CS date and dh called him from my local NHS hospital with an update!) I still had my CS on planned date in Portland, at my request, and he arranged for theatre time to be changed and discussed my case with local hospital's registrar beforehand. The delivery was peaceful and relaxed, with ds straight to breast, and all of us chatting. Highly unlikely we'll try for a third, but if we do, I hope he's available. Might not be applicable to you, but he was also excellent with advice and support on other health issues affecting my pregnancy (I've got epilepsy). 5 Weeks post section and my scar is really good and I have no pain at all.

I had Donald Gibb with ds1, and I didn't feel that comfortable with him, hence the change. He is also an excellent surgeon though, which I guess is all that really matters.

Congratulations and good luck!

Which hospital? I would decide that first depending on where you live, and then choose an obstetrician from there. If you are interested in C&W Kensington wing, I would recommend Keith Duncan or Roshni Patel.
