Previous quick successful induction - is it likely to happen again? Good and bad experiences wanted!

I was induced with DS at 40+8 (leaking waters). Prostin gel used, and I was in labour within a couple of hours, with DS arriving later that day.

This time I will be induced 38-39 weeks due to large baby and previous shoulder dystocia.

I am hoping, even though this will be an earlier induction, that it will be successful as I've had a successful one before.

Anyone got any experiences to share?

Can't offer advice but was induced with my first at 40+8 also with leaking waters. Seemed to be fine 12 hr labour, no need for assisted delivery. Am due with no 2 on 9th Jan so interested to read this thread.
