12/12/12 baby???

So I'm 40+9 today. Done the whole show, twinges, BH, period cramps, back pain thing for days and days now. It would be so cool to have a 12/12/12 baby! Come on little one. You've got 9 hours!

Meant to add - anyone else out there hoping for the same?

Am sat here wondering if I'm really 'going', 39+6, low level contractions all day, more than BH, feeling a need for a 'plan', looking after my 3 yr old ds; once I was fully 'going' with him it all moved fast so feel like I need to get my plan underway in case but don't want to look like an ejit if it's not the real thing! Why we can't have a light that comes on or something...

@MsPickle - I agree! All the books say 'if it's the real thing you'll know'. I didn't know last time until about 4 hours before the baby arrived, and have felt on the brink of labour for the last 2 weeks now....

Good luck! I've just called my parents to come and take ds in case I'm right, poor little man, it's his first overnight from us and he'd really rather stay and try and catch the baby in the pool with the sieve I think...!

Had my second (rather brutal) sweep today, desperate to have little one out! I'm 40+10.

Like you Hooliaa' I've been getting all kinds of tantalising hints he's on his way, but I just want to shout "get out"!!

Good luck Coffeeandcream. Sending you come out baby vibes. I've given up hoping for a 12/12/12 baby as it would be a bit scarily fast if she came before midnight. Let's go for 13/12/12.

Just to say I had a daughter at 6.45 this morning after a hard but amazing home birth. Turned out she was posterior and not very small at 8lb6oz. To those still waiting, best wishes and good luck!

I had a 12/12/12 baby! Edward William was born yesterday at 6.30pm. Totally unexpected, I came to the hospital for a routine MW appointment to find I was 4cm and they kept me in. My due date was 22nd so I'm glad he came early and we'll be home for Christmas. I was also convinced I was having a girl so it was a double surprise!

12/12/12 is a great date of birth!

My DS almost got this (if only he arrived 20 days earlier) it's 24/04/04, the 4 is still there but would have been great to have 04/04/04.

I can't seem to produce babies in time though and have to practically have them dragged from my body at 2 weeks overdue :(
