I'm going to be in a village close to Salisbury over Easter. I have already had one pregnancy scare and want to be prepared in case I go into early labour. I'd be grateful if local MNers could tell me about the local hospitals. I've heard Odstock? is the local Salisbury hospital but not sure if it has maternity. Also, heard it is not that great. Ditto Southampton. Would you agree with that reputation? What would be the other alternative, not too distant, hospitals?

Thanks

My parents live near Salsibury and last preganancy I had a scare near the end and went to Odstock. It was great, especially compared to a London hospital. Really quiet and the midwives were nice.

Thanks Tonton. Anyone else? Must be some other Mumsnetters in the area?!
