Just been to see consultant for my 40w review and she did an internal to see of anything was happening.
My notes say 'cervix is 2cm long Os just admits finger vertex high' (I think, as its a bit of a scrawl)
From what I can gather this meant cervix is partly effaced, whatever that means, and baby's head is still a little high.
Can anyone shed anymore light on this and my prospects?
It's DC2 and I was induced at 40+15 last time with a very unfavourable cervix so surprised to see something looking a bit more positive this time, if I've read things correctly!
