V quick question please, at what gestation were your dcs born?

I'm due baby No 3 tomorrow, and as my previous two babies arrived;

DS- 40+2
DD- 39+6

I was quite expecting to take a similar pattern. Dh's time at home is limited and so I'm just wondering if there really can be some kind of pattern. I'm becoming very impatient!

It was after they came out that the unpredicatability started....

DS was a bit of a shock, I finished work at 5pm on the Friday, he was born at 9.30 on the Saturday. I wasn't ready for him at all, good thing he wasn't a first child so it was just a matter of getting things out of the attic. If DD1 had been born at that gestation we'd have had nothing.

DD1 evicted with full induction at 42+1
DD2 only needed ARM to bring her out at 41+6

I live in hope that if I have a third it might actually make it out without someone having to stick a crochet hook up my fanjo.

DD spontaneous labour at 39+6

No induction needed.

OK so it does look like there may be a wee pattern of sorts, with gestation getting earlier. Anyone care to tell me if I will ever actually give birth? I really thought I'd believe it more with my 3rd baby but I actually, really really don't. It's bizarre. Anyone care to make a guess?!

38 weeks- I told everyone my baby would be early and I was right!

DD1 - 38 wks spontaneous
DD2 - 39 wks spontaneous
DD3 - 40+4 spontaneous
DS1 - 40+4 spontaneous

Mine actually got later - sorry, that's probably not what you want to hear!

Not entirely sure as to accurate date. Late dating scan said due 19 Dec. failed induction on 26 Dec. Elective CS on 27 Dec. Placenta was heavily calcified so probably very late!

Going by my dates, just over 38w and 39w3 days. First one I had a sweep as I was 40w by their dates, so if left to his own devices might have been different. Second one I went into labour on my own.

All born spontaneously on the day I was meant to be induced. Me and my sisters were the same. This time I think I will just ask for an induction at 38 weeks
