Hi,
Had an emergency section 4 weeks ago.
Anyone had a massage o
(for recovery or relaxing purposes) and how did you find it?
I'm just wary of booking one in a salon and causing any problems.
Asked GP advice last week and he was a bit dismissive.

I've not, but logic states that if you booked a pregnancy massage where you sit up and avoid abdominal pressure then that could work. Talk to your local salon about how they'd do it and how they'd sit you and work it out with them your dr is obviously not concerned. and i'd sure that you more than deserve it.

oh, and congratulations! Smile

Do you live in a biggish city? If so I would Google 'postnatal massage', that would be your best bet. Otherwise, call a normal salon and discuss it with them.

(My massage therapist specialises in pregnancy massage and postnatal massage, and would be totally unfazed by your request.)

I second QTPie, go to a qualified physiotherapist or MW specialising in post natal massage for best ans SAFEST results.

Congratulations BTW!
