How quickly did your contractions go from bearable to agony?

Having contractions. They're uncomfortable but bearable. Sometimes they take my breath away. Sometimes they're not as strong. They're fairly regular. They've been like this for 6 hours or so.

Just wondering what the average time is for things to ramp up? Obviously everyone is different but would be interested to hear all experiences

Thanks everyone. He's gorgeous. He was 8lb8oz. I won't say the name in case it IDs me. Not that it's that rare or anything. Wink

I think it was when I was 8cm dilated when I was in agony.

G&A was amazing relief!
