Still bleeding after easy birth

Hi

Had dd 4 weeks ago, hypnobirth, no tearing, no stitches.

I'm still bleeding, sometimes it's bright red. Is this normal.

It's not a lot at all, I'm wearing tiny thin panty liners and there is a bit of blood on it each time I go

It's usually 6-8 weeks so 4 weeks sounds okay.

Lothian doesn't have anything to do with how easy a birth you had, its the lining of your uterus that was protecting your foetus being shed. I'd worry if you were passing clots bigger than a 50p or started gushing bright red blood.

Congrats on such an easy birth and your new baby!

Totally agree with the fabulous WitchesTit

Look out for smelly discharge, a heavier flow, a tender abdomen and/or fever as warning signs, too.

Congratulations on your new baby!
