Could be the muscles being stretched, could be the baby moving down, could be a kick. I was a sales rep and in the car alot until 38 weeks and often felt that, but unfortunately I had a while to wait. Good luck for the next few weeks:)

AdiVic, thanks, I was hoping it meant that our wee one was on its way!

Im 33+5 and feel this all the time. Just means babys is very low and getting ready - although it still could be 2 weeks overdue so dont get your hopes up.

I often have a good punch in the fanjo off baby too, as if she wants to let me know she is there! Hmm

mameulah · 16/10/2012 22:17

CharleeWarlee, good to know it isn't just me. Not so good to know about the 2 weeks overdue though......

I never went overdue. I felt the same as this from about 26 weeks with DD1 and she was born at 37+5. I was just trying to state that although your feeling baby very low, it plays no significant role into when the LO will be arriving Smile

First baby? Could be the head engaging. Dc1 engaged at 36 weeks... born at 41 weeks. Felt like I'd been kicked in the crotch once engaged. Not very comfortable.

OneOfMyTurnsComingOn · 17/10/2012 08:30

As said, sounds like baby engaging. I'm 41 weeks now Sad and had this for a few weeks.

StillIRise · 17/10/2012 08:30

Why on earth would you hope the baby was on its way early?

mameulah · 17/10/2012 09:46

StillRise we lost a baby last year, in the last 13 months I have been pregnant for 11. I don't want the baby here early but if it was a clue that it was on time and not two weeks late then that would be really good.

mameulah sounds like things are moving in the right direction, hope you don't have to wait too long now! Smile

WandaDoff · 17/10/2012 09:55

It sounds like the baby's head is engaging. That is exactly what you want at 35+6.

Remember any time after 37 weeks is considered full term. Smile

GossipWitch · 17/10/2012 09:59

At 35 week's onwards, my youngest's head felt like it was grinding against my pelvis, very uncomfortable but its normal, couldn't tell you about my eldest though... it was 10 years ago.

Thank you EthelredOnAGodDay!

Did you get what felt like period cramp, especially late in the evening?
