Hello - I am nearly 40 weeks and very excited about going into labour! Do you have any good tips, that worked for you, for how to get it started? Thanks!

reflexology! am going to try and do a session tomorrow - am 40 + 6.
last time I used it (and of course there is no way to know if it was the reflexology that did it) my labour had slowed to virtual standstill when I had a session. There are specific points they can use that relate to your uterus (i think - am clearly not an expert!) and my god when they touch it you definitely know about it. Within a few hours my labour was full on and I was fully dilated. So I am a big believer. You need someone who understands maternity reflexology though and has experience although my doula also had a crack at it and it certainly had a similar effect. good luck.

Keep as active as you can.

I had a sweep on A Friday and a baby on Sunday! I got bouncing on the ball so gravity could do its magic and ran around after the boys and housework.

Good luck!!
