34hrs since friends induction, what is going on?

Friend is 42+1 today. Went in to be induced yesterday morning. No news since then. What is going on?

She will be going through the process of induction. It's not always an 'instant' solution.

My induction started on the Wednesday evening and baby arrived Sunday evening.

In the meantime, I was given several hormone pessaries, I did a lot of walking, my waters broke and I had a contractions of various durations and intensities.

I think you are just going to have to be patient.

Friend of mine was induced on a Tuesday, baby eventually born on the Friday. It can take a while to kick in.

Silly post and question I realise! I didn't know they let you go that long, so useful to know. I had long labours with mine so know it can take a while.
