Private hypnobirthing south London

Hi there

I live in Wimbledon, work shifts & juggle childcare. Life is quite hectic so it would be difficult for me to make regular hypnobirthing classes but we really want to try some hypnobirthing as are quite nervous of our second baby coming in march due to an awful labour with our dd.

Any recommendations for private hypnobirthing teachers?

Thanks. I did actually meet with her & she was great but she only does classes in Croydon & I need someone who will come to our home to do them as cant find childcare for 3 days for the 6/7 hrs it would take to travel to Croydon & back plus have the classes. Sadly as she seemed great!

I have also seen lots of recommendations for Judith Flood - who also does private sessions

Haven't used either personally though.

Go through the HB website - they will be able to give you some names and you can ask for references.

I originally trained with Marie Mongan and the Hypnobirthing Institute but now choose to work independently to deliver a specialised course I am also a founder member of the Association of Hypnobirthing Midwives. babmumalert, to say I am not a certified Hypnobirthing Practitioner implies I am not qualified to teach Hypnobirthing. I am not certified with the American Hypnobirthing Institute but I am qualified in both birth and hypnosis. Despite the image they put forward Marie Mongan and the Hypnobirthing Institute do not own hypnobirthing and it is not exclusive to them, what you are implying above by saying I am not certified is unfair.
