Premature rupture of membranes - if it happened once is it likely to happen again? Thanks

Depends on why it happened before, I think. If it was due to infection, it could happen again if the underlying infection wasn't treated, or is prevented from returning. When it happened to me, we never found the reason. And I had two successful pregnancies afterwards - one with twins - and no ruptures at all.
