Kingston Hospital - random questions!

I'm due to have my 2nd DC at Kingston hospital pretty soon. I simply cannot remember some things from last experience though, can't find the info on their maternity website Hmm, and don't have another appointment there until/if I'm overdue...

So...can someone tell me...

  • do I need to take my own towel or are they provided?
  • what are the post-partum visiting hours for partners/siblings & general visitors?

Thanks!

We had both our kids at Kingston. My general advice is to take whatever it is you think you'll with you anyway (but no, can't remember there being towels).

In terms of the visiting hours, it depends what ward you are in - here is extract from their website (www.kingstonhospital.nhs.uk/visitors/wardtimes):
? Alexandra, Astor, Cambridge, Canbury, Claremont, Sycamore and Worcester Wards: 15.00 ? 20.00 hrs
? Blythe, Bronte, Derwent, Hamble, Hardy, Keats and Kennet Wards: 14.00 ? 16.00 hrs AND 18:00 ? 20:00 hrs
? Dolphin Ward: Mon ? Fri: 08.00 ? 20.00 hrs AND Weekends: 10.00 ? 18.00 hrs
? Sunshine Ward: 10.00 ? 20.00 hrs
? Intensive Care/High Dependency Unit: 16.00 ? 20.00 hrs
? Isabella Ward: 15.00 ? 20.00 hrs
? MAC, Winter Ward: 15:00 - 19:00 hrs
