I am expecting my first baby in a couple of weeks (dd 12/9) and I am looking for an experienced independent midwife.

If you know a wonderful midwife with excellent qualifications and lots of experience please let me know.

Thank you so much in advance.

Anna

Friends of mine have used the four midwives from The London Birth Practice:

I was present at the VBAC of my friend that they cared for a few years ago and the midwives were AMAZING.

Try Brenda Van der Kooy (West London Independent Midwives) - i believe she is amazing - 2 of my friends had her

South London Independent Midwives cover your area.

They're outstanding! PM me if you want more info. Tina Perridge delivered both my younger dc's - very talented, experienced and bright midwives, as are her colleagues Teresa Arias (consultant midwife at Kings) and Annie Francis, who also work for SLIM.

I thought you might like to know that South London Independent Midwives are now working as Neighbourhood Midwives and have full insurance!! www.neighbourhoodmidwives.org.uk/index.php
