hi i was woundering if anybody can help me i would like to have another baby
but im too scared because when i had my first i hemoraged and lost 6 units of blood and had a major operation and i had a tear in my womb and so they put in one of those ballon things and basicly i woudering if i was to get pregnant again would i have the same as i did with first would it be a risk

I think you probably need to discuss this with your doctor. Nobody on the internet can give you the answers you are looking for.

Poor you, that must have been really scary! Have you had a debrief? Most hospitals do a birth afterthoughts service where you can go through your notes with a mw to get a better understanding of what happened and why. If you haven't already done that I can really recommend it, maybe if you ask your hv they can organise something for you?

Macca, I didn't have the same scenario but was resuscitated and nearly died 2.5 years ago with our first for DIFFERENT reasons, I didn't bleed. Im now 6 months pregnant after saying no way. Closely monitored.

You need to find out what the chances are. A pre-conception consultant appointment would be good for you. I had one and people with difficult births are entitled.

Thats where I would start. Be careful on here. Well meaning advice some-times in your case would not be a good idea.
