Anyone have to be induced with DC1 and then had DC2 early?

Just wishful thinking really!

I had to go for induction with DS at 42 weeks and after 2 days of them doing everything they could I was still only 2cm so ended up with EMCS.

Now nearly 37 weeks with no 2 and hoping for a vbac but wondering what the likelihood is of this baby coming early/on time. I have had loads of braxton hicks this time which I didn"t last time so I'm hoping that's a positive sign! Consultant's said I can have weekly sweeps from next week too to get things moving.

So, anyone got any positive stories for me?

I was induced for my first at 42 weeks and for my second child, my waters broke at 36+5 and gave birth on the same day.

Wow, I'll be 36 + 5 tomorrow - not sure I want it to arrive quite so soon!

Yup. Induced with DS1 at bang on 40 weeks due to water leakage but no sign of labour.

DD arrived at 38+5, DS2 at 39+4. No leakages with either -not until the show was on the road anyway Grin

Yes, I was induced at 42 weeks with DS, had EMCS after getting nowhere, and was fairly convinced that my body didn't know how to go into labour. But with DD my waters went the day before my due date, contractions started a few hours later, and I had a successful VBAC with very little intervention.

Good luck!
