vba4c . advice and what to do

Hi all . ok im on thye implant at the moment but me and husband are thinking of haveing one more child . Ive had 4 c-sections 1st because i paniced and babys heart beat dropped, 2nd because they said i failed to progress after 8cm but only left me half hr before deciding. 3 and 4 i had no choice. only my daughter i had to be induced but the rest started labour naturaly . but i want to try for a vbac with my 5th, ive done lots of reaserch but sceared the midwifes will try and put me off. I know theres chances of rupter etc but also i know its more safe to try for a natural than it is having a repeat c-section. Ive heard success storys but there all abroad , has anybody heard of any in the uk?

I'm sorry I can't point you in the direction of anything. I had DD1 with ECS as her heart rate was dipping after induction. DD2 was early and waters broke. She was going ok, but pushing against my CS scar and it hurt like FUCK!!!! So, she was another CS.
After DD1 they said I could VBAC for the next one. After DD2, they said I would probably have to have CS because of the scar but I could try for VBAC first. All said while they are still stitching me up !!! Sorry I can't be of more help, but that's what they said to me, basically I could try VBAC but would probably end up CS.

What does your consultant say? After 4 cs I'm guessing you won't be midwife led.

Yes bagofholly, midwifes i think will refuse to stand by me but have found an I/M whos done a few vba4c and says that most times its because of the hospital. She was discusted that i was told my first was becouse i paniced but in all it was because they gave me pethadine around 8cm which caused my sons heart beat to drop. The second my daugher i got to 8cm and they gave me half hr to dilate more but cause i never they took me down , they never gave me a chance and everything was ok i was fine, daughters heart beat was fine. i feel totaly let down by my local hospital. if they gave me a chance with my second id of prob had a vbac. I know theres risks but in the right hands i know ill be fine xx

Marie there is 2yrs 1 month between them, so about 16months between, and yes it felt like she was going to come out through my scar!!!!
