Hi I had my little girl 14 months ago, 2 months ago I started getting a really bad burning sensation down below, went to drs and he prescribed flucozonal tablets as he thought I had thrush, these didn't work so ended up seeing another dr who prescribed canestan, this didn't work, had swabs done and all came back ok, the pain was around more scar tissue as when i had my little girl they had to use a kiwi to get her out and therefore had to cut me, I have a piece of skin that they missed when sewing me back up and this really hurts, and along my scar tissue is really tight, this is causing the burning sensation as it soo tight that it is pulling, sex is way too painful at the minute, and I just wanted to know if anyone else has had/got anything similar and if so what have you used to ease the burning sensation

i had this but unlike you i had it fixed by the time my ds was 5mnths. if you go to your gp they should be able to refer you to get it fixed, however i do have to warn you although its better and pain free for me now the operation was more painful than the original tear, its different for every case but they had to cut away the scare tissue before they could sew it properly as the scare tissue wouldnt of healed properly, would find a good feminine lotion and apply liberally until fixed as it will make the skin more supple and pliable

you have got my sympathy its not nice

Go to your GP and tell them this. My stitches had healed 'wrongly' and I ended up having a recut and refashioning (fenton's procedure) when DD was 7 mo. The op was fine and I recovered quickly. Good luck Wine.
