Forceps and bald patch

My dnephew who had a forceps delivery has always had a bald patch on one of his temples. We have always assumed this was due to the forceps, but now my DM says it might just be a coincidence.
Is it common for forceps babies to have bald spots where the fo rceps was used?

No idea, but my DS (16 months) has a bald spot but wasn't forceps delivery, so may not be to do with it? Although if he has a scar from it, hair doesn't grow over scar tissue does it?

I never heard that before, dd wasn't forceps but had a bold spot from where she slept

Thanks a lot to both for your replies, I am starting to think that DM is right then and the bald patch has nothing at all to do with forceps (The area has a little red dot in the middle but there is no scarring of the skin as such)

I was delivered by forceps and no bald spots here!
