I am 36 weeks. May possibly be induced at 37 weeks due to o.c but levels have dropped from 23 to to 12 then 10. Went for a scan ystdy and baby was engaged but now transverse! I had a midwife appt that morning & scanner said she shouldve noticed. My question really is what will they do if baby doesn't move? What do your bile levels have to be like to be induced? Might they suggest a c-section? Getting nervous as you can tell!

I don't know anything about of but my baby was lying transverse from just before 35 weeks. I was admitted to hospital at 36 weeks incase of wates breaking- some hospitals it is normal policy to admit for all transverse lies, others don't seem to worried- maybe depends on how far you are from hospital? We weren't suitable for and ECV as there was too much fluid and the consultant would only tr it if we could the have our waters broken immediately but he felt there was a huge chance that she would have moved back transverse before they managed to do that.
We had an elective c-section on Tuesday at 37+6 and it was a very positive experience- out of 4 births potentially the most relaxed!! I am an advocate fr natural births but sometimes they just can't happen, unlike a breech there is no way to vaginally deliver a transverse- so unless baby moves I own accord or can be turned the that is the only way. We tried everything on spinning babies website, homeopathy and acupuncture/moxibustion but this little girl wasn't for turning!

Me, sort of. DD was briefly engaged, but not fully, then just bopped around. I had had induction started when she was engaged but had a cs for unstable lie in the end.
She hasn't stopped flipping about since birth either.

Lol. Well now he's semi engaged so will have a sweep next Friday at 37+5 to try & start labour off which they hope will force him down into fully engaged. We shall see.Smile
