Hi, I am 38 weeks pregnant. It's my first. No signs of labour yet, hasn't dropped or any other sign... I have constant back ache and pelvic hurts like crazy. Walking is making everything even worse and sitting doesn't help either. And I might still have 3-4 weeks before baby arrives... How are you other expecting mums feeling?

Hello there. 39 weeks here and ive had a few twinges over the last week back ache period pains etc but it's all died down today :( I would like her out now please but I too know that I have at least another 2 weeks at the most to go. However my previous two were totally spontaneous labours just went into full blown contractions ! No waters breaking no show so totally know it's any day now ! Getting v nervous :(

Hi Newkew - I am 38 weeks, first baby, tomorrow (monday) - so in about an hour. I was JUST about to start exactly the same thread. :)

Hi Cheekychops - how did you feel with your first?

My discomforts are that my hands are so much larger. Forget my wedding ring and engagment ring. I can't even wear bracletts. And my feet and ankles are uncomfortable too.

Are you deleriously happy and excited? I am guessing neither of you are! Which is a huge relief. Me and DH have had a fairly stressful weekend. Not helped by the fact that the decorator still hasn't finished the baby's room so the house is chaos. This is a very much longed for baby although I am absolutely terrified.

That would be great to go into labour with no sign soon. I am so ready to have him and he is also measuring 2 weeks ahead so l am so nervous about going 40+12 and getting induced!!! Trying to relax and be positive as much as possible because I know stress is not helping. It seems like only thing can make me happy at the moment is chocolate Smile . That might be the reason why LO isSad measuring so big

Hi Laughinglemons, to be honest l am just nervous and not enjoying this last part of pregnancy at all. People keep telling me to enjoy my time before baby comes, but (lol) with this discomfort, is it possible to enjoy anything! l kind of look forward to having those terrible contractions! At least that will end all this discomfort and boredom...

Try not to worry about baby's room, l am sure it will be finished on time!!! Have either of you decided on names?

Hi, i'm 37 1/2 weeks with third baby. To be honest, I just want to go into labour ASAP because I am experiencing alot of cramping and pains below my bump. All has been well so far but the last few weeks are tiring. Alot of BH followed with hot flush too. I just want my baby in my arms!!!

Hi all. 38 weeks here too, DC3.
As usual I have had absolutely no pre-labour symptoms...no niggles, twinges or BHs. Was induced at 40+10 with previous DCs. So may end up that way again.
Baby is still moving about all over the place, hasn't dropped-thank goodness-so not uncomfortable. Just heavy.
Am looking forward to getting my body back though, just wish you could know the exact date they were coming, it is the waiting that is killing me!Grin
