does any one know any hospital's that will allow for a vbac after 2 c-sections? in uk

i have had 2 cs in the last 2 and 1/2 years (not by choice) and i really want to try for a vbac if i was to get pregnant again in the next few years

I know Shrewsbury has a really low intervention rates and vbac is expected here. They may accept vbac after 2 emcs too. I guess it depends on the reason for the sections.

You will probably find a fair proportion of consultants are supportive of VBA2C, it's not hugely uncommon. Smile

I know someone who had a VBAC after 2 c-sections at university hospital Durham.

It's not a case of the hospital "allowing"

The only person who does the allowing is you

The hospital may advise against - you can listen to their advice and decide what YOU want to do. if the hospital is not supportive you may wish to seek a different hospital, or speak to a senior midwife. There's a really useful group on facebook - VBAC UK I think it is - very knowledgable and helpful women there
