Anyone gone past EDD several times, and then had an earlier one?

I'm 37 weeks ish, and two of my babies have been born close to 42 weeks, with the middle one arriving round about due date. DH seems convinced from my behaviour () that labour is imminent within the next week. Has anyone had this happen? I'm just assuming I'll go at least until my due date and likely around 10 days more than that.

I am keen to see how this goes after 1 cs and two 11 days late, now 23 week with number 4, dare I hope it might be around time!?

My mum had her first six days over then she was induced at ten days over for babies 2, 3 and 4. Then baby 5 was born 10 days early (and was the biggest of the lot!). With number 6 she was back to 10 days over! My first is due tomorrow so am wondering if I'll go to ten days over too!

Both my DS's were 14 days over so hoping this one (now 38wks) will be on time,

Thanks for the replies! I'm guessing from the lack of a deluge of "oh yes that happened to me" type responses that it's not terribly likely then .

I think I'm just having a panic about the state of the house and the amount of stuff that needs sorting out before baby/summer hols! In 9hrs time I'm officially OK for a homebirth, and now have all the essential kit and space to give birth organised, so although now wouldn't be ideal, it would be manageable. I'd like to get to a couple of days before my due date at least, ideally.

Mine were:
DS1 38+3
DD1 39+3
DS2 40+1

I am sooo hoping this one comes early again otherwise I think I will be in for a whopper!
