Am I the only one who misses the little flutters or those massive thumps :). According to other moms I know I'm mad! Lol am I really the only one????

I did a little bit, initially.... but then I took a certain delight in jumping up and down and NOT inconveniencing a little passenger when post-partum, so I think I got over it!!

You can enjoy it again next time round if you're crazy enough to repeat it :)

I did the last time!
I kept stroking my stomach, which is something I didn't actually do when pg...
I think it's because after 3 thats it, we've made sure that there will be no more mini flobbas.

i did for a bit, but wouldn't do it again. I felt quite sad throwing my mat clothes out - i think it's the knowing my broodmare days are behind me and I'm past my reproductive days. The thing i will miss most is holding my baby straight after being born - they are so cute with their little snuffles and gargles. They soon get to be shouting demanding little horrors! (love em really). Ooooh, now I'm thinking about it, I'm missing it!! So, yes is the answer:)

really no.

just no.

I'm with you firstimer, i do. Summer is 19 days old and i do miss her being all tucked away, although i was the most paranoid person during pregnancy, oh and still am...!, i am in awe of the whole thing and feel quite teary all the time that she was in there growing into her pretty little self! so yes i miss it, will be in 40's if i do it again....

MammaTonic · 11/07/2012 20:29

I missed it instantly after DD1 was born; belly deflated quite quickly and that was a bit of a shock :( Took me ages to get my head around the fact that she wasn't inside anymore. She's a bundle of joyous energy now (3.5yo). Can't believe she was a little 7 pounder once!

DD2 is almost 12wo and although I miss my bump, its different somehow; I miss it, but I'm not yearning for it, IYSWIM. I had an ELCS with her, so I think knowing the date she'd be born allowed me to say 'goodbye' to my bump

Maybe it's because I knew I wanted more than one child? I'd be happy to try for DC3 in the future perhaps, but the desperation for another child isn't as intense ...

Yet.

:)

What do you mean miss it?!! I've still not managed to get back to my svelte former self 'BC' (Before Child!)

I do miss being pregnant. I loved it all up until the last 2-3 weeks. So much so I'm already working on DH to get dc2 underway! Wink

Pidgy · 12/07/2012 02:18

No, I love the fact I can now sleep on my front and roll over in bed.
But, I suppose I do miss the knowing and caring look you get from others.... Except now I just get questions about how oldmybabt is, as at the moment he is still an extension of me really (6 weeks).

justhayley · 13/07/2012 06:57

My DS is 12 weeks and I did for a few weeks after birth. It did pass once I could fit bk in my jeans Grin I have been super broody since DS was about a month old though

Nigglenaggle · 13/07/2012 21:24

No!!!!!!!!

Cydonia · 15/07/2012 20:26

Get yourself a stretchy wrap sling and snuggle baby in. It's kind of like being pregnant again but baby is on the outside! That's what I thought today, took DS down to the beach to walk the dog, first time I'd been down there since before he was born. As I struggled to bend down to pick up the dogs poo and laboured through the deep sand with a lump sticking out in front of me it was like nothing had changed!
I do kind of miss his little kicks though....

Pastabee · 16/07/2012 06:41

Well I didn't realise my bump had gone as the day after giving birth I was wallowing in the bath and suddenly thought 'shit, the baby hasn't moved at all today'.
