mucus plug gone after sweep?? advice please xxx

so i had a sweep done this morning around 10, it was pretty painful but doc told me my cervix was looking really good, im 39 weeks.
so i get home still feeling normal and after about an hour i have a gush of loads of brown mucus discharge with some red clotting in it! is this my show? and if it is does that mean the sweep is working and i should maybe get my bags ready just incase?????? thanks so much xx

yes get the bags ready, it could be a few days, or it could be an hour,

get the bags ready,you should of done this before sweep then relax, good luck

thanks girls. still nothing more yet. just this yucky stuff coming out. a friend did just tell me she had the same thing after her sweep and its not my plug its just something that happens after a sweep is that correct?x

If you want to speed things up, walk up lots of stairs, and sit on your yoga ball, roll those hips.

went for a wee walk today and been on my ball, might pull hubby on later for a quicky to get things going lol, still not had any major pains yet, so starting to get a little downhearted but not gunna give up hope just yet cuz i suppose theres still time

I think it won't be very much longer! I definitely say yes to lots of walking and get an early night you'll need your rest as well! Good luck!
