wondering if anyone has any experience of VBAC at the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, and specifically if anyone has any stats on the success of VBAC there, or on the incidence of uterine rupture? or does anyone know where I can access them? I'm due to meet with my consultant soon and I would really like to have a home birth although on the basis of midwife conversations so far, I don't think they are going to like this idea... I'd just really like to go armed with hard data rather than anecdotal evidence and am finding it hard to come by. There is also a new midwife led unit at Edinburgh now but they are not allowing women with previous c-sections in at the moment; this would be my ideal compromise but looks like it's not to be.
