Hi , I was admitted to hospital on Sunday 35 weeks exactly, I have previous history of preterm delivery at 34+4 and am currently on twice daily clexane . I have been told I will be induced tomorrow morning if nature hasn't taken it course , my waters have broken naturally and I will be given prostoglandin. Does any one have experience of this , is it more likely to start contractions with my waters already gone and it being a second pregnancy

Hello - I've no experience of induction that early, but was induced 5 weeks ago due to possible probs with the baby, at 38 weeks. I've a history of going t 42 weeks, so I think my body likes to hang on as long as poss. I had the pessaries for 2 days which didn't work, but then they broke my waters (with cervix pretty much still closed) as soon as I had the prostoglandin, things were off quite fast. All in all 2 hours from start to finish, so it being your second maybe things will go along after some help. Good luck, hope all goes well:)
