Hi, I am looking for some advice on local Hospitals. I had my Daughter in The Whittington in 2009 & had a pretty traumatic time. Uninterested grumpy staff, very little communication & a general air of unhelpfulness from beginning to end. I was induced at 41+ weeks & basically laboured in pregnancy triage & was made to walk to labour ward at 9cm.

I'm now pregnant with no 2 & decided on UCH. Unfortunately my experience with the service there is so far not great. I have PCOS & am unsure how pregnant I am but cannot get an early pregnancy scan & have already been given quite conflicting advice & had huge delays at appointments etc.

Can anyone help me make up my mind whether to stay with UCH or give the Whitt another go!
Thanks.

I personally think hospital births are a bit of a lottery. Who's on duty that night etc. I'd go for ease in other ways. I think both hospitals are probably fine. I have a soft spot for the Whit having given birth there twice but that's not much of a reason for you
