Wondering if anyone had any experience with eri in regards to a high risk waterbirth? I'm sure I read somewhere that they offer this.
Background is I'm due dc2 1/1/13 (subject to dating scan next week). Dc1 was 42 weeks exactly. I am hoping this one follows their big brother's lead, but am aware that it could make an early appearance.
Anyway, dc1 was an emcs as he was turning all the way down during the birth and just wouldn't get in the right position - they wouldn't even trial by forceps (though I was adamant that wasn't happening anyway) despite his head being visible.
We are not native to the area we currently live in, and will be travelling home for Christmas to Scotland. Therefore, if baby makes an early appearance, it could be born in Scotland.
I really want the waterbirth I was denied last time, my hospital here are happy for me to have a 'high risk' waterbirth, as the only high risk factor is the previous section.
Anyway, long ramble cut short - do eri offer this, and I'd baby puts in an early appearance, how do I tell them, hiya, I would like to use your pool, I'm in labour?
About to ask a similar question of Surrey ... Attending a wedding there at 39 weeks ... Yes, I'm mad.
