silly position question

i'm 39 weeks and baby is on my right hand side, kicks to left. is low and hopefully nearly ready... But i am confused. our nct teacher said when baby hits perineum it turns always clockwise, does this mean right hand side babies go back to back? or am i being silly?

I've never heard this.

My LO had his back on the left side, and was back to back during labour.

my midwife said it wasn't true that they always turn clockwise. Instead she said they turn the shortest route to get straight into your pelvis, that is either facing forwards or facing backwards. So she wasn't worried about an roa presentation.
