Hard bump - don't think it's labour, but?

for the past hour I have hard a hard bump, which is mildly painful, but not too bad. it doesn't feel like contractions as it is fairly constant, but is uncomfortable.
I just went for a walk around the block ( only 20mins) and it doesn't feel any better. Could this be the early stages of labour? I am 38 weeks. Cheers.

Have you had any Braxton hicks? This sounds like it, but we are all different.

A few BH, but nothing that was too painful. Would love it if today was the day!

Sounds like BH to me. You're usually looking for contractions that come and go, and increase in frequency and intensity. I'd suggest a bath to see if that settles it a bit.
