I'm 38+1 today, I have been feeling really nauseous and very grumpy and just generally uncomfortable - achy back, sore round my bump etc. I was induced with my older ds so I have never gone into labour naturally before - does this sound like something or nothing do you think?

I am exactly same as,you,I could have written this post myself. I feel much more grumpier and ill than last time. I just want to lie around doing bugger all.
Just rest up and make sure your iron isn't too low

HARRUMPH!

It's RUBBISH isn't it? I am such a grump. I strongly suspect that all the things I described are not in fact a symptom of impending labour but just of being this enormously pregnant. Sigh.

Ditto, I keep crying and my fannois hurts. I get about four hours sleep a night and this morning just really needed that bit extra but not very DH is completely incapable of keeping my toddler amused so she doesn't keep running in and jumping on me. Feel like shite. Just keeping with the mantra 'Two more weeks. Two more weeks'.....

I am extremely grumpy - 38w 4d. I'm not uncomfortable or feeling really inhibited by the bump at all; I'm just really, really grumpy. Must be hormone related - surely? Being a real mardy cow at the moment - poor DP - snapping at most things.

RachelWalsh · 03/06/2012 15:56

Let's all pretend it's some kind of prelabour hormone surge?

Suits me.
Just sobbed uncontrollably because I couldn't get the computer to do something I wanted it to.
Pathetic!!!

I'm 37+3 and feel the same, so so grumpy. Not helped by having 2 "friends" go on about seeing us as they want to see me while I'm the size of a house-nice! I am not a circus freak!

Ok- this is starting to worry me.
I now feel really jittery, anxious and like I could burst
Into tears at anything. I'm completely on edge- almost slightly breathless- and really don't feel like myself.
I'm not worried about labour, or facing any other stresses, so I'm concerned about why im feeling like this.
Is the hormone surge actually true? I hope so. Otherwise I'm going to be really worried.
