Caesarean belt - worth buying?

Hello! This is my first post a Mumsnet :-)
Hope it works.
I'm due to have a scheduled c-section with my second baby in a few weeks. I healed up OK the first time, but am worried about my fairly boisterous 2 yr old being around this time!
Has anyone bought a caesarean belt and found it helpful.
The brand sold widely on Amazon etc is called Theraline, about £20.

Thanks

Sorry, no experience of the belt but it sounds very uncomfortable to wear a belt on a scar. Can you get help with the toddler for a couple of weeks?

I'm 5 weeks post ELCS and still can't stand anything on my scar (no healing issues; it just feels sensitive). So, I'd say no.

All the best with the birth x

I have a very bouncy 3yo DD, too. You just need to be cautious. Depending on what side of 2.5 your DC is on, s/he should be able to understand that Mummy's tummy is sore :)

Thanks everyone! Think I will hold off buying one.

Is that the one that heats up? I got one and never used it on my scar. Too uncomfortable.
