hi just scouting round, any recent experiences of these places? many thanks

Relatively recently: I had my daughter at the JR 2 years ago. I was in the consultant-led unit (although I had hoped to be in The Spires). It is quite 'hospital' like, but the staff were brilliant and did everything that they could to give me the birth that I wanted. A friend gave birth 3 weeks ago in The Spires and said it was amazing - like a hotel apparently!
