37 wks- do I have weeks of pains ahead?

Hi. Am 37 wks today with DC2. Was induced on DC1 so have never gone into labour naturally. Last week I had niggly pains all night with one major pain that I thought could be a contraction. Midwife told me it was most likely a BH and says head is now well down.
Had reflexology on Tuesday (she's a midwife and could feel tightenings after it, I didnt have it done to induce labour) and had pains all night long. Yesterday spent the day happliy pottering away tidying and cooking though had no appetite for food! Again spent most of the night being woken with pains. Bump went quite hard each time I had a pain, but even though they were happening a lot there was no pattern to them, just that some times the pain moved from my back around to the bump.
I really doubt this is labour as I am fine now (just very tired!) but has anyone had such experiences and gone early? Another 3-5 weeks of pains and no decent sleep will have me driven mad with tiredness never mind the fact that I have DC1 to care for!

I had very regular BH's that led me to think they were the start of labour on and off from about 37 weeks and dd2 arrived at 40+2. They did come and go though and tended to be worse in the evening.

Fingers crosed you will get the same as me and at least have a couple of days with nothing and then an evening of BH rather than something constantly niggling.

I did have a very easy labour though so perhaps they were more productive than I thought!
