How long do you think?

Had a sweep yesterday. 1cm dilated .Cervix 1/2cm thick, still posterior.(At this stage DD was 1cm thick) But MW said baby is half down birth canal. Its basically the same as my notes when I had a sweep 3 days before I had DD. MW said its great that my body has done what its doing so far just by braxton hicks etc. So the sweep may be completely irrelevant as my body's doing it slowly.

Due on Monday (Had the sweep due to personal circumstances) but it didnt work. Since today I have had more discharge on & off, bh's, lower back ache and on & of cramping. I've just been putting it down to me still taking DD to playgroups being active etc.

Do you think i'll go massively overdue? DD was 40+5

Any news? I am 39 weeks tomorrow, no signs at all, no braxton hicks, nothing. I hope it's all happening for you

Don't think you will go massively overdue. If nothing is happening yet could you ask for another sweep?

Oh and don't forget your raspberry leaf tea .

Thank you. I think I will have an early night. Haven't had much of an appetite this evening either, just cereals... will hopefully get some sleep.
Its when I wake up early hours needing a wee & then i can't stop thinking about it all & my difficult personal circumstances right now

Let's hope you won't need the sweep on wednesday it is awful waiting for baby and not having a clue about when he will come out.... I have kind of accepted he is not coming out before he is ready and I feel much better about everything

Thank you. Baby has slowed down a bit so not sure if its any indication. Tummy is starting to feel itchy now, but resisting the scratch! plenty of cream, even though stretchmarks have appears this last week. :(

Also feeling headachy & tender/pressure down there again.

Will do more of my birth ball later on

If baby is slowing down I would pay some attention to movements and if you are worried at all go to the hospital for them to check.
