go and get cecked out as you and baby will be exposed to infection if waters are leaking.

have a smell if it smells like straw it could be your waters, not sure how true this is though.

My waters leaked for well over a week and very nearly didnt go and get checked out the day i did, good job I did as 2 hrs later dd was born.

Put a maternity pad on.

In late pregnancy you have increased discharge so it could be that. If you still suspect leaking waters, call the MW.

Get checked out properly in case it's waters. Mine just gently leaked out over 3days, not pleasant as constantly felt like was peeing self.

Please err on the side of caution and make absolutely certain that you are properly checked. I have posted about it too many times but I was sent home from hospital twice with leaking waters, with nasty consequences.

If you are seen in hospital they can do an amnio swab, so push your gp or mw to refer you.

Got an appointment at the hospital on Thursday so will get checked then.

Bibbity - what 'nasty' consequences are you talking about?

I would imagine bibbity is talking about infection, namley group b strep that can cause some very seriouse consequences for you aqnd unborn baby. I had this as a result of leaking waters. I had to have iv antibiotics within 2 hours of giving birth, unfortunatly this window was missed and dd and I were in hospital very poorly for 10 days having anti biotics.

You do really need to get checked out
