hi i would like to ask for everyones early labour symptoms, did anyone have any little signs that labour was on its way? cravings, pains, nausea?
apart from the obvious water breaking and loosing mucus plug etc.
im currently 33 weeks pregnant but for the past few days ive been experiencing sharp shooting pains every so often during the day, right in my "bits" and feel a lot of pressure when walking.

ive also been gettng more and more braxton hicks, the other night i was having them every ten minutes for 2 hours, they wernt overly painful so i never bothered to phone midwife, but im just wondering could any of these things be an early sign that labour isnt long approaching?
i had my first baby at 38 weeks by c section and im giving the nutural way a shot this time! so im not sure what to look out for as ive never experienced labour and never experienced these pains the first time.
please share your experiences, thanks xxx

48hrs before labour began I lost my appetite and spent a lot of time on the loo as my body eerrrm emptied itself.

24hrs before I had appaling back ache and couldn't get comfortable all day, I went into labour during that night.

I hope they're not early symptoms as I'm having the same. Also 33 weeks and definitely don't want this baby coming anytime soon.

I've been having BH since 20 weeks and they are getting more painful. Also horrendous back ache all night the other night, worse with the BHs. I think it was just a change of position as haven't had it for a few days.

I sometimes get the pressure thing too. I think it's around the cervix.

Hope all is well with you anyway.

i know belinda i definatley dont want baby coming anytime soon, longer in there the better, ive been getting back ache too but put that down to standing on my feet all day cutting hair! ive been getting bh since about them also, but im the same they have become more frequent and stronger.
im just constantly worried that something could happen earlier than expected. hope your well too xx

I had those pains at about that stage but it turned out dd was sideways and measuring 7lb 14 at a scan at 36wks.
She came at exactly 37 wks , reckon the pains were her weight right across my bits.

Ooo exciting Wink

I was worried something was happening the other night. Was awake all night!

Feeling exactly the same symptoms here. Am 35 weeks and getting REALLY strong braxton hicks. Pretty much continuously since yesterday around 2pm. Ds was born at 37 weeks and doc predicts I'll go early this time. Sorry not much help but I sympathise

The only advice I have from one Mandy to another Wink is just be ready. So if u haven't already, pack your bag.
This was my second and like a doughnut I thought I had wks.....she came the day after my sons b'day. The house was a tip and nothing packed. Luckily I had washed through all the white stuff but there was stuff all over the house and as my waters were breaking I was having to write dh a list of what I needed- not ideal!
So tomorrow pack your bag, anything that needs doing get it sorted because I can promise you once bubba is here NOTHING is ever the same Grin

Good luck Smile

1st time around it was vomiting and diarrhoea a few days before.
2nd time around no vomiting, just diarrhoea a couple a days before. My body seems to want to be empty pre labour.

In order, waters breaking, heap big poo, clinging on the wardrobe with each contraction.
I'd scoot off and get your bag ready, searching for a hairbrush with contractions 2 minutes apart is not fun.
