I will be spending a week in the Windsor/Ascot region when 38 weeks pregnant. Booked in closer to home (several hours drive away). If things start to happen where would you recommend I go to?

There's only Wrexham park hospital in slough if you are Windsor end.

NickNacks · 04/05/2012 12:28

WEXHAM spellcheck corrected that to Wrexham!

If you're nearer the Ascot end I think you are between Frimley Park (Camberley) and St Peters (Chertsey). AFAIK the midwife led unit at Heatherwood in Ascot is still closed.

NickNacks and howimetyourbrother are spot on. The mw led unit at Heatherwood in Ascot has closed, so depending where you are, Frimley Park, St Peters or Wexham Park.

CervixWithASmile · 06/05/2012 22:42

I wouldn't recommend St Peters. Have heard ok things about Frimley and you also have Royal Berkshire in Reading.

I would highly recommend Wexham.
