Tender and swollen 11 months after EMCS

Hi All,

Just wanted to know if anyone has had these feelings internally so long after having had a CS. A friend is getting a bit conerned. She is unsure weather her internal organs have been affected. (pain is between her belly button and pubic bone) She has had an ultrasound scan and nothing showed up. Would that have brought anything that was worth worrying about to light?

If anyone has experienced anything like this I would appreciate knowing the outcome. Any advice to pass on would be welcome.

She may have some adhesions where the scar tissues heal together and can sometimes include internal organs but i would have thought that this would have shown up on the ultra sound scan.
I had mine 18mths ago and i still sometimes get a dull achy pain around my scar (which is still numb!) Hope she gets her answers
