bleeding after caesaren

Had 4th cs on 12 april and am still bleeding, it will stop every few days for couple of days then-sorry tmi-i will pass a big clot and bleeding starts up again.with previous cs I just had about 7-10days of bleeding that tailed off.I did have placenta accreta with this pg and tubes cut at time of cs.Is this sort of bleeding normal or should I see gp?

I bled for 5 weeks after a c-section, if it is getting heavier it could be a sign that you are overdoing it or it could be something else. If you are worried about the clots can you mention it to the health visitor and see what they say?

It took about 8 weeks for mine to go!!! And mine was heavy on and off!! I also worried but I was told it was normal

I had a couple of weeks, then stopped and started again after about a week for another couple of weeks.

I'd speak to GP/mw if you're worried though.

I bled for 6 wks after c-section and then a wk later had a 2wk period! :(
You are poss overdoing it while your trying to heal.

I have definately been overdoing it from day 1 so I think that must be the problem.ds was in nicu for 8 days but I'd been discharged on day 3 so was back and forth to hosp every day and expressing milk etc and did not rest at all. Will try to take it easy see if it settles down.

Oh poor you, sounds like a stressful start to a new life. I hope things ease off a bit soon and you can take it slower.

Mine was definitely linked to me overdoing it at about week 2 or 3 when I was starting to feel better.

I think that's partly it as well- I feel a bit better now and think I'm ok but really I'm nowhere near able to do what I was doing before cs and with 4dcs I seem to be doing so much !
