Had a midwife appt today and the baby is fully engaged at 35+6. It's my 2nd pregnancy and DC1 born at exactly 36 weeks. Would love to hear some stories about when labour started from others in a similar situation... MW said baby unlikely to move back up now as locked in position. Labour imminent, or a long, uncomfortable wait ahead?! Thanks!

My DD2 bobbed in and of fully engaged to free a few times until she was born.

DS (third baby) spend 3 weeks fully engaged, I thought he was going to fall out. so I feel your pain. But Third babys are buggers for pretending your soon going into labour.

With your second they might not be fully engaged until after labour starts, so no indication I'm afraid.

Good luck though

Sorry that last bit I was trying to say, any head position doesn't indicate when labour will start.
