Ok so I am 40+1, been having irregular contractions since monday, I am dilated 1cm (as of tuesday) I have lost my mucus plug, which was over period of past few weeks, there was no blood in this. But as of last night, I have started having bloody mucus, the mucus is pink tinged but I can see streaks of red blood throughout. I'm confused. With my first I never lost my plug, just bloody mucus in labour (was induced). My plug which I lost this time over weeks where big blobs of just yellow/clear tinged slimey stuff.

With both of mine, all I had was bloody mucus (so bloody the first time that I was sent to a hospital further away in case I was heamorrhaging because it looked like clots).

I remember it being like a weak coloured jelly.. And lots of it.

So it could be the second batch coming out??

If you are worried though you must phone mw. Sounds like a baby soon :)

Lost mine all at once during labour, when contractions about every 5 or 10 mins. Very bloody, like a particularly gooey period. People do things in a different order - contractions, show, waters in my case.
