Acupressure points for 40 + weeks

I found a link on youtube to Acupressure points to induce labour (labor as an American clip) - I guess it can't hurt - can it?
What do you think - I tried it last night and am about to have a go again can just about get to the one between heel and ankle bone lol?
Have tried sex but really not up for the hot curry/pineapple thing - I really don't fancy having the squits in labour.
I am 40+2 and alternate between wanting the Baby out right this minute NOW to being happy poodling along and enjoying maternity leave with the kids and forgetting how much it hurts?
PS. It does stress not to even consider it under 40 weeks.

I was having acupuncture from 37 weeks to try to make a posterior baby turn, and also to make him come out as I went overdue - he did turn, but had turned back by the time he was born, and I ended up having an ELCS at 42+1, with no sign of him arriving solo. (He's now ten days old and a beauty!)

But my acupuncturist (an ex-midwife) recommended trying acupressure - if you google Debra Betts, her website has a detailed PDF of the relevant pressure points with links to Youtube clips. Good luck!

I went 10 days over with my second and thought he would never make an appearance. I couldn't be induced due to previous emcs but I had three(!) sweeps leading up to the event. I was nervous but didn't find them that bad, no worse than a smear ... Also reflexology and a really long walk just before ... Good luck!

It cant hurt can it! Give it a go. At the end of the day it could have the same effect as your DH giving you a foot rub. Either way you'll feel a bit more relaxed and possibly pampered.

Thanks.
40+5 and no sign of baby's imminent arrival :-(
Stretch and sweep today at 3.45 - please let it work (both DC 1 & 2 were born 24 hours after the first sweep but that may have been co-incidence)?
I need me a Baby today/tomorrow please!
