I had my first by emcs 6 days ago. Had my stitches out yesterday and tbh it looks more like a scratch than a scar! When can I have a bath? I've been having daily showers since the section but a bath would be lovely. Is it okay to have a bath so long as I can get in and out okay? Haven't had any issues whatsoever with the scar or section itself. Thanks

Have a bath if you want! Light a candle and lock the door. Celebrate getting back ownership of your body. Then rub yourself all over with lovely oils.

Hiya, congratulations on the birth of your baby! Thanks

My Mom is a nurse with many years experience and she told me that as long as you soak in unperfumed/unsoapy water, you should be fine. Save the soapy stuff for right at the end, then just make sure that trace of soap are all washed away.
