Does this sound like something's happening...?

39 weeks today and was awake half the night with intermittent, quite painful pelvic pressure which is still coming and going, though not getting noticeably stronger. Possible early/latent labour, or just my body practicing?!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
smearedinfood · 17/03/2012 13:00

Are they regular. Could sound like the start of something.

Minty82 · 17/03/2012 13:39

Yes, but don't seem to be getting any closer together or more full on...

Have kept track for the last three hours - every 20 minutes but not getting stronger, and no show, waters or any other signs of action stations...

Could stop completely now, or go on for weeks like this or could get very exciting tonite!
Don't worry, we'll all be back later with Brew & Biscuits to check on you.
I would make sure my bags were ready. Wink

Minty82 · 17/03/2012 16:32

Oh you're so sweet, thank you! Yes, am double checking the bags etc and trying not to get too excited!

Seven minutes apart and much more intense...looks like things are getting going... Spoke to the midwife who said to come in when I can no longer talk through them - which I think isn't far off now. Wish me luck!

Minty82 · 17/03/2012 21:39

Pretty good so far thanks - can't quite believe it actually appears to be happening. I'd been bracing myself for the possibility of three more weeks!
